Tuuli Paukkeri is a senior researcher at VATT. Her research focuses on topics in public economics such as inequality, benefits and taxation. Tuuli is currently working on the IFS Deaton Review of Inequalities project, projects on disability pensions and benefits’ payment frequencies, and starting a project on cognitive and noncognitive skills.
Tuuli is a member in the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax Systems Research (FIT) and a member of the SustAgeable research consortium funded by the Strategic Research Council.
Tuuli has worked at VATT since 2016. She obtained her PhD in economics from Aalto University in 2018 and did a post-doctoral visit to UCL and LSE in 2018-2020.
