Niilo has worked as a project lead at the Data Room since January 2024. Before that he was a postdoc researcher at Aalto University, studying, e.g., the links between education and financial distress, the equality of the mortgage credit market, and the way one’s teenage socioeconomic environment is reflected in adulthood outcomes like education and employment. Niilo defended his Ph.D. in 2016 at Aalto University.
