Kimmo Palanne is a senior researcher in the Energy, climate and environmental policy research group at VATT. In his research he analyzes the environmental consequences and distributional effects of fuel taxation, vehicle taxation and other transportation-related policies. Kimmo received his PhD from Aalto University in 2025.
