Finnish Centre of Exellence in Tax Systems Research
Finland collects around €100 billion in tax revenue annually. The aim of the Finnish Centre of Excellence (CoE) programme in Tax Systems Research (FIT) is to construct a comprehensive picture of the effects of taxation and social protection and the way they affect the distribution of well-being. The research results can have a significant impact on policy recommendations on the design of tax systems. The CoE is a joint initiative between Tampere University, the VATT Institute for Economic Research and the University of Helsinki.
