Ramin Izadi

Ramin earned his PhD from Aalto University in 2022 and currently holds a Senior Researcher position at VATT. His dissertation analyses the influence of personality on education and the labor market. Ramin’s current project studies the impact of kindergarten on school preparedness and socio-emotional development. The project implements a nation-wide randomized controlled field experiment and involves a multidisciplinary consortium of economists, educationalists and psychologists.

Ramin has visited UC Berkeley twice during his studies. He received his master's degree in economics at the University of Helsinki. In 2024, Ramin will be visiting MIT as the Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation Fellow.
