Juho Alasalmi is a senior researcher at VATT Datahuone. His research focuses on labor markets and especially on active labor market policies and regional mobility of workers.
Juho Alasalmi received his doctoral degree at University of Konstanz in the summer 2023. His dissertation studies the role of self-image in economic decision-making with the methods of game theory. Prior to his position at VATT, he has been teaching mathematics and microeconomics at the University of Konstanz and researching labor markets at Pellervo Economic Research.
