Tuomas Nurminen is a researcher at VATT's Data Room. His research focuses on public, health, and behavioral economics. He has studied topics such as the formation of individuals' economic preferences, the receipt of social assistance, and tax evasion. Before his position at the Data Room, Tuomas worked as a researcher at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and at the Research Unit of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela). He is finalizing his PhD dissertation on behavioral and experimental economics at Hanken School of Economics.
