Marika Viertola is a Senior Researcher at the VATT Institute for Economic Research. In her research projects, she examines the effects of corporate taxation and other regulations on firm behavior. Her work has focused particularly on the activities of multinational enterprises within the framework of international corporate taxation. Marika received her PhD from Aalto University in 2025.
