Marja Riihelä is a senior researcher in the Social security, taxation and inequality research area. She has researched trends in economic inequality and poverty in Finland. Her areas of expertise also include household consumption and indirect taxes. Her recent research is on income mobility. Marja gained her PhD in economics from the University of Tampere in 2009.
