I am a postdoctoral researcher at VATT, finishing my PhD at the University of Cologne. I am affiliated with ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy. My research is at the intersection of environmental economics, innovation, public economics and behavioral economics. I study the behavioral drivers of innovation, including the role of personal experiences and shifting expectations about demand and regulation. I examine how moral and social views interact with standard economic incentives to shape climate beliefs and policy preferences and the design of optimal carbon taxation. During my PhD, I visited CREST/École Polytechnique, UCLA Anderson and the Central European University.
