Follow-up study of student admissions reform

The project examines the links of higher education institutions’ student admissions reform with student selection, progress in higher education studies and choices during upper secondary education. The student admission reform entered into force in 2020, and the project monitors its outcomes in 2020-2022. The data consist of the higher education institutions’ joint admissions register, the study registers of upper secondary education and higher education institutions (KOSKI and VIRTA) and Statistics Finland’s FOLK personal data modules.
