Assessment of the impacts of the taxi reform

The aim of this project is to assess the impacts of the taxi reform, which was carried out in Finland on 1 July 2018, on tax revenues, consumer prices, the demand for taxi services, and the functionality of the market in general.

Taxis

The research design is based on a comparison between the taxi sector and the bus sector before and after the reform. The project aims to form a comprehensive and reliable overall picture of the impacts of the taxi reform and, in addition to the aforementioned impacts, the number of traffic and other offences in the taxi sector before and after the reform.
