Assessment of the 2011 energy tax reform

The project examines the impacts of the 2011 energy tax reform, especially from the perspective of achieving the policy goals and developing the structure of energy taxation.

The project considers how the 2011 energy tax reform has achieved the environmental and policy goals set for it and what the current structure of Finland's energy taxation is like from the perspective of international comparisons and economic theory research. The project assesses the energy tax reform and consequent measures. It also assesses how energy taxation could be developed based on assessing its goals and implementation from the perspective of economic theory and from an international and environmental viewpoint.
