Economic Policy Council will publish its annual report on the economic policy of the government and fiscal sustainability on January 26, 2022. An open online seminar will be held for anyone interested in the report.
Economic Policy Council will publish its annual report on the economic policy of the government and fiscal sustainability on January 26, 2022. The report will be published on EPC website at 10.00.
An open online seminar will be held between 13 and 14.30 for anyone interested in the report. Watch the seminar here.
Programme
In the seminar, professor Jukka Pirttilä, member of the EPC, will present the key content and opinions of the Economic Policy Council’s 2021 report. The report will be commented by Director General Mikko Spolander from the Ministry of Finance. The second part of the seminar features a panel discussion on issues such as the fiscal risks posed by the pandemic. Panelists are Chair of the European Fiscal Board (EFB), professor emeritus Niels Thygesen (University of Copenhagen), Director Mika Maliranta (Labore) and Auditor General Sami Yläoutinen (National Audit Office). Panel discussion will be led by professor Hilde Bjørnland (BI Norwegian Business School).
