The Helsinki Economics of Crime Workshop will be held in central Helsinki at the historical Katajanokka prison, now a boutique hotel. The workshop will provide an opportunity for scholars in the economics of crime field to present and discuss their work. The keynote speakers are David Deming from Harvard University and Jennifer Doleac from Texas A&M University.
The conference is organized by VATT Institute for Economic Research in collaboration with Aalto University School of Business and Helsinki Graduate School of Economics.
We are still waiting to make a final decision regarding whether we will be able to safely hold our economics of crime conference. In light of that, we are extending the deadline to submit papers to April 15. We hope by then that we will also be able to make a final decision on the conference.
To submit a paper for consideration, please email your submission to [email protected] by April 15, 2020.
See the full call for papers on the event website.
We look forward to seeing you in Helsinki!
