At the VATT Institute for Economic Research, we conduct high-quality research to support decision-making and evaluate economic policy. Our researchers are sought after as experts in parliamentary committees, expert working groups and the media.
We have 60 employees, mainly researchers with PhDs in economics.

VATT Data Room provides fast-paced data-based information for decision-makers. The secretariat of the Finnish Economic Policy Council works at VATT. We are a part of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax systems Research.
