Antti Simola is a researcher at the VATT Institute for Economic Research. Simola’s research field includes environmental and energy issues. He has also researched regional policy issues. His current research deals with health hazards caused by pollution of watercourses and the resulting economic costs.
Simola is preparing his PhD thesis for the University of Helsinki on the behavioural impacts of agricultural subsidy schemes. He previously worked at the Centre of Policy Studies.
